Interior Designing Course with Venus School of Arts

This course aims to explore your interest in space design and is a foundation course that can lead to the Venus of Arts School of Interior Design course.

Interior design has changed dramatically. It has evolved from its beginnings over 100 years ago as a pure pursuit of “decoration” to today’s highly specialized profession of spatial design.

Thoughtful interior design can make a space more functional and beautiful.

But more importantly, it also affects your mood and how you feel. People react directly to their environment. 

As a spatial designer, we can create an environment that positively influences these natural responses.

This course is designed to give you an understanding of the creative process. critical thinking and practical skills needed to conduct personal exploration of the profession and conceptualize interior spaces.

Course Aims

You will develop confidence in design thinking through self-study.

1.Growth of personal ideology introspection, evaluation and critical reflection this will help you add value and improve your creative projects.

2.You will learn different ways to communicate. Explain your idea Coursework exercises typically use analog media to convey information about your research and development.

3.You should experiment with 2D and 3D digital media if you can.

4.At the end of this course, Venus School of Art will help you decide if you have acquired enough skills and confidence to enter higher education, as well as determine the nature and direction of your study or practice.

Course outcome

Throughout the course you will:

  • Increase confidence in your understanding of the spatial environment.
  • Learn 3D design skills and techniques in drawing and building.
  • Learn how to use lines, shapes, light and shadows in an interior.
  • Improve your knowledge of materials, textures, patterns and finishes.
  • Create constructive interventions in a spatial context.
