Creative craft learning with Venus school of arts
Crafts in schools provide an opportunity to restore and preserve the rich heritage and cultural traditions of our country and promote the creativity of students. During the Venus school of arts workshop, teachers will study 3 to 4 crafts in detail. Crafts commonly taught include pottery. Clay modelling, paper-mâché, mask-making, rangoli, wall decoration, bamboo work, paper sculpture, toys making paper, metal work etc. There are lectures and slide shows on various topics related to handicrafts and Indian culture. seminars on the use of educational and methodological materials of the Venus school of arts are also organized for creative activities in teaching curriculum
Course aims
- Rekindle interest in Indian handicrafts and explore their relevance to modern life.
